Big Walk is available on Nintendo Switch 2. It is not listed for the original Nintendo Switch. The official website consistently names “Nintendo Switch 2,” and Nintendo’s store URL identifies the product as a Switch 2 release.

That hardware distinction is important because searches often shorten both consoles to “Switch.” A result saying the game is “on Switch” may be technically ambiguous. For Big Walk, the launched Nintendo version requires the newer system.

Can Switch 2 players use crossplay?

Yes. Switch 2 players can join friends on Windows, Mac and PlayStation 5. A host can share the short Join Code created for each session, avoiding any need for every player to share the same platform friend service.

Big Walk supports 2–12 players on its released platforms. The host chooses a two-player, three-player or four-plus world and keeps the save between sessions.
