Spoiler warning: this page reveals a post-ending challenge area and the structure of all seven purple puzzles. The official FAQ says the game has an ending and allows any challenge to be skipped; the locations and techniques below come from community Steam guides.

How to unlock the purple challenges

Finish the main adventure first. A community guide places the challenge area on the far-east ridge, reached through a purple tunnel after taking the chairlift. Its door opens after the ending. If the door remains closed, return to the host save that completed the main route and confirm the session loaded that progress.

Does Big Walk have a true, secret or full ending?

Launch-week videos use phrases such as “true secret full ending” to distinguish a more complete run from the first ending. That is community wording, not an official ending category documented by House House. The official FAQ confirms that Big Walk has an ending, but it does not define separate “normal” and “true” endings or publish a completion checklist under those names.

Use this page for the documented post-ending purple challenges and the achievement guide for cleanup planning. We do not infer an exact secret-ending requirement from a video title alone; a future standalone ending walkthrough would need a directly inspectable route and independent confirmation.

The seven community-documented challenges

1. The 30-minute house

Plan for a long uninterrupted attempt. Assign one player to track the current objective and another to watch the time and group position. Avoid resetting the session casually; the challenge’s value is sustained coordination rather than a short input trick.

2. Long-distance golf-ball transport

The Steam author’s two-player group did not find a reliable kick or throw method, so they daisy-chained the ball between players. Put teammates along the route, call the next receiver before moving, and recover the ball calmly instead of letting the whole group chase it.

3. The 36 drawings

Divide the image set into rows or numbered groups before anyone starts calling descriptions. Use consistent vocabulary for shape, direction and position. Confirm the wall, then the group, then the specific drawing; otherwise similar pictures become easy to confuse.

4. Nine audio cues without talking

Agree on visible gestures before starting. One player can point, crouch or move left/right to encode a small set of answers. Test the signal vocabulary once while everyone can still see each other. Outside voice calls defeat the intended no-talking constraint.

5. Nine symbols without talking

Reuse the same hierarchy: identify the wall, narrow to a symbol group, then identify the exact symbol. Pre-agreed hand signals reduce improvisation. Keep one person as caller/decoder so multiple teammates do not send conflicting movements.

6. Timed platform and egg-timer course

Assign the strongest mover to the timed route and keep observers out of the camera path. The support player should communicate only the next obstacle or timing cue. If motor timing makes the challenge inaccessible, the official FAQ says any challenge can be skipped.

7. Many-lights yes/no puzzle

Use one flash or gesture for yes and two for no. Ask questions that halve the remaining possibilities: correct wall, correct group, then exact light. This binary process is slower than guessing once but far more reliable across distance.

Community source and uncertainty

These techniques are paraphrased from a launch-week community guide and are not an official walkthrough. Exact object positions, timers or routes may differ with group size or patches. The repeated transferable idea is to agree on signals before separation, narrow answers in layers, and assign one communicator per role.

A separate Reddit puzzle question about pegs near the yellow tower received a single answer recommending the X-ray item gun. That is a community report, not part of the seven purple challenges, and should not be confused with this post-ending route.
